Life can be full of surprises. We often set an expectation that things must go our way. This might work for some, but in most cases we are disappointed because things go in different directions. Our expectations can set us on fire and reveal the disturbing emotions in our mind. In addition, we can become fearful of the future because if something does not go our way we feel like we are losing control. Learning to see how things are constantly changing and accepting this as part of life can help us cope with these unexpected surprises. Integrating breathing techniques into our lives can help connect our body and mind, which improves our confidence and trust inside ourselves.
